Cleared surplus

Gensets and switchgear

No cleared genset or switchgear lot is published here, so there is nothing to buy from this page yet. Public and private buyers can send a spec with Request an offer, or record it with Get free alerts, which stores the request and does not by itself send a feed.

No cleared lots yet. The checklist below is not equipment that is available.

What buyers should spec

  • Rated power in kW or kVA, and the frequency you need.
  • Voltage, phase, and grounding if you know it.
  • Fuel, and whether the duty is standby or prime.
  • Enclosure, and a sound limit if you have one.
  • Switchgear voltage, continuous current, and short-circuit rating.
  • A transfer scheme if you need one, and whether you will accept new or refurbished equipment.
  • Quantity and the needed-by date. Shipping on a cleared lot is FOB origin.

Why factory lead times are long

A new genset or switchgear lineup is built to the voltage, current, and control spec on the order. That factory slot, plus the work to coordinate the generator with the switchgear, is why a new-unit quote often carries a long lead time.

Gripp does not print a universal number of weeks, because that number depends on the spec. No genset or switchgear lot is cleared, so this hub has no lead time to print.

How Gripp matching works

Gripp brings you deals before you ask. Public and private buyers describe the gear, and Gripp matches that request to cleared excess.

A lot appears here only after it is marked cleared. Prices stay off the page. Shipping on a cleared lot is FOB origin.
